Been a while but here's my thoughts and what I would hope is going on
The board have a list of targets based on Delia and jp the 1st list are players that are targets if cl football is achieved these maybe loans or permanent
The 2nd is players who will come in if its Europa league
Both lists will also be dependent on players leaving
Stokes boerighter scepovic and if a suitable bid comes in for a 1st team player
Would not shock me if commons left was a bit surprised he got the deal he craved as not convinced he is in rds plans

gordo…he was injured (wardrobe door top of the toe hmmm) …but I have heard circa 2 weeks back that he is not in RDs plans

Can't believe Commons isn't in his plans after just getting a new 2 year contract, obviously could have been fan/media pressure for him to get one so he did. Although for me Commons brings FAR more to the team than Armstrong.
Anyway, imo Armstrong out wide left is a wasted position as he doesn't offer much down that side for me and often goes missing or consistantly from what I've seen gives away possession in the final third breaking up our attacks. I'd even maybe try Cifcti out wide there eventually when he gets his fitness up to speed when his ban is over to see how he could do out there and see if he'd be more effective as I don't see him being a prolific goal-scorer at all, he could bring some skill, pace and power down that side possibly creating more than scoring. He also used to be a winger for Dundee Utd in the beginning I'm sure.
Anyway if Armstrong is not going to get used centrally then there's really only one position for him and that's the bench for me. Never a winger just need to hope Ronny sees this.
