Was looking at something and noticed that when celtic signed Balde from Vitoria Guimaraes a certain El Arbi Hillel Soudani was playing as his strike partner.the algerian is now at dynamo zagreb scoring for fun . somebody watched Guimaraes and decided to come back with Balde.
Soudani is a handful and to be avoided in ECL play offs!
Was looking at APOEL and Ludogorets of Bulgaria, the latter are jam packed with versatile and free scoring brazilians. Marcelinho and Wanderson stick out .
ECL qualification will not be easy and the play offs (if we get there) will not be for the feint hearted

Gordo87 he means we might be playing against them if we qualify. Tbh there's no such thing as an easy qualifier for Celtic these days, it's a total lottery.

Correct Kev. Also soudani had the caps with Algeria so it could have happened. Zagreb got the right bhoy and we got the malfunctioning other half unfortunately. It happens

We got the diddy Bangura as well. All of a sudden Ciftci doesn't seem so bad lol.

Kevbhoy….I am going to stick my neck out and predict that Ciftci will have a greater and more positive impact than Mo Bangura and Amido Balde…there I've said it……all Ciftci needs to do is score 4 in 18 months and I am home and hosed on my prediction :)

I think Ciftci will have a significant impact on the amount of goals Celtic scores,I think LG will score more this years due to Ciftci contribution,I expect LG to be the top scorer and Ciftci to have most assists.
{Ed007's Note - I doubt they'll have much game time together, Aindoh. For me Johansen has the centre of the AM 3 sewn up when he's fit. It'll be a fight between Ciftci, LG and A.N. Other for the lone striker role and if it's not working it'll be a straight swap for one of the others. Occasionally you might see a 4-4-2 but I can't see it happening often enough to let Ciftci and LG form a partnership to do what you're saying. Look who got hooked tonight when Ciftci came on.}

I hope RD changes his system to use the players available to their maximum potential,rather than trying to put round pegs into square holes,that was,is WGS biggest failing,goodnight.

Maybe see Cicfi or Griffiths played a bit wider to accomadate each other. Know he ain't lightning quick, but Cifci did play wider role at times for UTD so he could bring other player into play and can be quite creative. Also we have played Commons in that role before so enough said really there. I'm hoping the squad we have will allow us to alternate positions depending on opponents and believe it will. Armstrong is a good example
